Hey Everyone! So, I've been doing some cards a few 4x5 and a bunch of
3x3 (mostly thank you cards that I am going to be giving to family and
friends as Christmas gifts). I started these the last week of September.
I had ordered a three sets of Stamps from Lawn Fawn.
I had seen some on YouTube ( you all will learn I've become obsessed
with watching card making and crafting videos on YouTube). The original
one I seen was the 'Good Fortune' set. I thought it was the cutest. So, I
looked them up and found some sets I thought I would use.
(sets shown above is Good Fortune, You've Got Mail
and Flying By all from Lawn Fawn)
These
sets really stood out for me. The You've got mail I am going to be
making an album for my Postcards, I've received from friends and family!
This isn't in the works yet because I'm working 40-44 hours a week from
Midnight to 8AM at a seasonal motel (ending on Oct 19th) and doing a 20
hour-ish a week Internship. So, I'm super busy plus try to make dinner
and spend time with my boyfriend as much as possible.
I
stated making 4x5 cards with the Good Fortune set. I like to have cards
on hand for when I need them. So, I stamped out a bunch of images and
colored some, then cut them all out and began gluing them on. I used
yellow card stock (8 1/2x11) and standard white computer paper that I
had on hand. I like to have a simple card base and have the images be
the focus point.
front of the card here I also stamped on the card
On
the inside of the card I like to add some paper to write on here I used
white computer paper and stamped on it(i was a little stamp crazy when I
first got this set) then wrote her a little note to say thank you bc
she's amazing!
Here
is the back of the card I like to add a little something to write my
name and the date or the year and in this one I wanted to let her know
this was the first card bc I knew she would love and appreciate that
very much.
This
card i made for a dear friend Ashley (who was the one who got me
addicted to YouTube videos) She had told me she mailed me something for
my birthday and I was mailing her a few extra stamps I had and don't
use. So I thought she would love the first card I made... which she
did!! :)

Later, after watching a YouTube
video about 3x3 cards, I thought how cute and stamping and making cute
3x3 cards. I love them but the Flying by mini set I've become mildly
obsessed with. Most of the 3x3 cards I made with 12x12 card stock I cut
it into 3x6 pieces and scoring at 3 to fold it.I had stamped images onto
white computer paper and notebook paper for the Flying By set and cut
them out. For the Good Fortune set I stamped more images out on to white
computer paper and cut them out.
Here
are the pictures of the Flying By 3x3 cards they are one maroon card
stock. No real order just as I grabbed the cards each card is
photographed front, middle, back so you may see how I did each card and
changed them up to give a variety of cards. I'm personally giving these
as gifts to friends and family. I wanted to have a wide range of
different ones.
