A BEE-autiful thank you card for Sandi

Hey guys!

I'm going to start with this post this week bc the flowers made me happy and making the card makes me happy and smile! I need it. I have learned my grandma has passed away. So, just wanted to talk about something cheerful and BEE-autiful!

So I know I have talked about Beth on here but not sure I have told you guys have a great friendship with her mother too! She lives not only in my town but in neighborhood too. She is amazing and we get together time to time to have lunch it usually is harder during the skool bc she works within the skool system But Sandi has retired so it should be much easier to see her... maybe lol.

But we were able to do lunch last week which was nice and we were out for like 3 1/2 hours talking and catching up... a real sign it's been to long. But she bought me flowers. I have been having a rough month with meds so I dont become diabetic, my father's health is not good. He has been in surgery multiple times over the last few months, Boyfriend stepped down from his manager position which is good bc hedoesnt need the stress but took a HUGE pay cut like 6 dollar pay cut. So just been way stressed about alot so she bought me flowers so nice of her! 

So I thought I would snail mail her a card to say thank  you! I loved the way it turned out! In High School a chick I use to hang with use to call me Lyzz-a-Bee! So it really made me happy! She didn't know that!

I got to try out the Lawn Fawn Black Licorices ink. Tam had it and I used it on the word Amazing tho that one isn't a Lawn Fawn stamp it is a Fiskars Teresa Collins stamp. other than that I used Memento Black to stamp and color things. I liked the black for the brightness I think it would be amazing for sentiments but I preferred my memento for my copic coloring still. Tho it might be amazing for other markers that are non alcohol based or even color pencils. I am just spoiled. I do have one Lawn Fawn Ink... Freshly Cut Grass (Bright Green) love it. But never used markers with it.

I used a couple of Lawn Fawn Stamp sets. Tam had the petite florals, so I used a flower out of that set to make the flowers. Which sad to say the petite florals set is retired but I am sure you can still find it online somewhere it is newly retired. They just started retiring their sets

Which totally makes me sad! I don't own them all yet!

I used the Bee from Gnome Sweet Gnome, totally one of my favorite sets! 

I used a recollections stencil I got from Michael's while in Florida with Sara in Sept 2015 to do the honey combs with some stamping up's Hello Honey ink. 

The washi tape I believe is Michael's recollections collection. It was one Tam has it was foil silver arrows on white tape. I really loved it and it worked so well on this card in the photo it doesn't look silver just kinda gray. 

I hope Sandi Likes it.

Hey guys,

So, Kim was surprised at my blog post bout the amazing package she sent me. She also made me blush she messaged me and noticed something very kool i havent noticed before she also was very kind and said some nice things... here's what she said,

"I love how you communicate in your writing. I feel like we are sitting on a sofa talking an having a cup of tea or something. You have a way of making the reader feel so at ease, like your talking directly to them as a friend. I love the details, I hate to read something and it's so vague with missing parts. The details is the main part of the story. You are very talented! The pics were awesome"

I never really realized that I write as if I am talking to you guys in a conversion. I knew my writing style is more of the way I talk but I never realized that it was more of a conversion though. It's kinda neat actually and it was very nice of her to tell me such nice things. Glad she liked everything. As for the pictures that makes me super excited to hear bc i have been paid for doing photography jobs and have that fancy pricey camera i have talked about before which i freakin love that camera so that pleases me that she likes my pictures.

I love her but she is alla bout getting pett-in's and being right next to me more than usual. I love her and I am glad she's feeling better I hope she gets to 100% soon tho... it breaks my heart when she's sick.

*A SURPRISE PACKAGE*

HEY GUYS! I am so EXCITED to tell you about a surprise package i received today!!

Ok so i was in a swap on swap-bot.com with the theme of a Mason Jar. Mine was cute and the lady really loved it! Which makes me more than excited about but i have never received such a package in my life for just one ATC swap and it could not have come at a better time.

So this weekend kinda rocked and sucked all at once. I worked Saturday 430 to 1130 off from the motel then got up on Sunday at like noon bc i couldnt sleep anymore bc i was to excited for Beth coming to town layed in bed all day tho but couldnt sleep i was so tired tho so at 3 to 5 hung with boyfriend and then went and had dinner with Beth and her amazing parents (no lie!) then we went to her other best friends house Jess she's super nice and her and i have alot in common (including a mutual best friend, named Beth!) well the 3 of us watched Frozen which we all love and Beth, her boyfriend Kevin, her brother Paul and her parents Sandi and Dave all went to see Frozen on Christmas Day in 2013 so it's an extra special movie to me bc of that. We were there til i went to work at midnight to 8am. Monday like the same thing happened i was to excited so i got like no sleep then about 7ish i was so worn out i texted Beth and told her i was sleepy and i did want to see her but bc i had to work like 16 hours straight i needed sleep and luckily for me she's amazing and totally understands especially since she now works two jobs also. So, slept for a few hours... horribly tho. Got up and at 11:10 and got ready and walked to work at the Motel for midnight to 8 am then went to the store to work 9 to 5pm LONG DAY! The truck didn't come on Monday bc of Labor Day. Plus being a small town everyone was off on Monday so every had to work and apparently everyone needed coffee, red bulls and monster energy drinks today it was a mad house to say the least. I also was training the new manager on our register which was a little slow going on that but he's a nice guy and try to put things away at the same time it was crazy. So boyfriend picked me up we went got McDonalds and went home to eat and watch some criminal minds on Netflix i fell asleep about 7ish then got up at 1030 to shower and bout that time boyfriend went to bed (later than he has been bc of all the extra work he has with his quoted "field promotion"... basically his manager is on bed rest for the rest of her high risk pregnancy and him being the assistant manager it falls to him but we love his manager, we have known her for 7 years and wish her a safe pregnancy with a healthy baby!) but not at work at the motel.

SO BASICALLY THIS SURPRISE PACKAGE WAS MUCH NEEDED AND REALLY REALLY APPRECIATED! More than I could really say. I thank Kim VERY MUCH!

She really hit the nail on the head i have never had anyone do so well at picking things for me. seriously it was like i went to your craft area and pick it all out myself!

ATC's from Beth

Hey guys so my dear friend came for a visit... thankfully her parents live in my town actually like 2 blocks East and bout 6 blocks South of me! So, when Beth is in town i get to see her and her parents. I am close with them all. (JUST SO BUSY CANT SEE HER PARENTS WHEN I WOULD LIKE) 

But while Beth was here she gave some L.A.B Swaps  :D!!! YAY!

Then these little fellows were in my enevlop too!

These were so SUPER Cute! i am kinda in love witht he "Parade" one with the don't rain on my Parade she's so darn clever! I may have to STEAL this idea bc i love it so much!!

ALSO! Beth told me that her local crafting supply store where she does her ATC classes (in Massachusetts) now carries LAWN FAWN! Yay i was very excited to hear that for her and then she tells me she went crazy with buying a bunch of their stamp sets which makes me even more excited i frigin love LAWN FAWN!

ASHLEY IS NOW A PROUD MOTHER OF A BABY GIRL NAMED CARLY <3!
MISS CARLY WAS A MONTH EARLY AND ASHLEY WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR LIKE A WEEK BUT MISS CARLY WAS DELIVERED SAFELY AND WELL LOVED. AT A WHOOPING 7LBS! CONGRATS ASHLEY&SERGIO!
