CAS-ual friday challenge (CFC 125: in a word)

Hey guys! Ok so I mailed out Ashley's birthday gift. When it arrives to her I will post some pictures (EXCITEMENT!)

As we all know I'm a HUGE fan for Lawn Fawn, if I had more money I wold fo'seriousness own every stamp set. I look forward to buying some dies for some sets I already own now that I have my fancy letterpress/die cutting machine. But I am OVER THE MOON for the images they have posted the over the last week of their upcoming paper set (Hello Sunshine) and the like 3-4 stamp sets they showed. OH MY GOSH guys I am so excited it's not even funny.

Other than you guys should see the sneak peeks that Lawn Fawn has posted I will continue with the CAS-ual Friday Challenge's. I skipped on of the CAS-ual Friday Challenge's the new year one bc I was just uninspired but there were some super cute cards posted.  This next challenge is like the last one a two week challenge more than likely bc everyone is still trying to get back into a routine after the holiday season. I really feel inspired by this challenge and I am sure over the next two weeks I will be doing a few more.

The current challenge is...

  Here is my first card

This card is really cute and I am in love with it. I could not find my Tombow Mono glue I'm so upset about that it's in my bedroom somewhere I was laying in bed and crafting one night last month and lost it *SAD* So, I used my Elmer's No Wrinkle glue, which here in the picture is still a little wet so it looks wrinkly to me but as it drys it straightens out and looks AMAZING!

My card is inspired by a card I seen on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel

I have also seen a few other's doing this negative dies lately I was going to link them all but of course the only one  I could find is the Lawn Fawn video. Unfortunately, for me I don't have any letter dies yet to do this. So what I did was take white card stock as a base I used some fancy glittery paper from my dear friends Sara, Miguel and Roy. Then took some white computer paper (as we all know I love super lots) I measured it all out on the reverse side drew some letters backwards and then took my x-acto knife and carefully cut them out then glued it all down. If I do say so my self, it looks very well done and I love it. On the inside of the card I put some white computer paper to one give more stability and if someone writes in sharpie or something it doesnt bleed through so I just took a silver sharpie and a ruler and made some lines. I wanted to keep the inside really simple but I could not leave it blank I hate blank cards on the inside. On the back I did kinda the same thing on white computer paper and just put my mark on it and I could not get that one side to stay down but it's ok it's hand made and after 5 minutes of trying I gave up lol

Thank you for stopping by, if you have any questions or tips let me know either in the comments box or email me and don't for get to like me on Facebook,

Have a great day <3 lyzz!
