Hey guys! So this week I joined a fun little swap on swap-bot.com called, "I Believe Series" this one was a Yeti which allowed me to use the Yeti Set Go set from Lawn Fawn (shocker i know, haha) Ok so i also purchased a couple of new Lawn Fawn sets early in the month too and used one of those sets too (Let's Bokeh) which is a fun little circle set! Also in September I got some white ink which I used and tried something different I used some white sticker paper stamped my Yeti on that and colored him with colored pencils instead of markers like i usually do so it was fun to try a few new things.
Used the white ink on the bright red cardstock. Then added some stitch lines in black. Also added some white paper and some washi on top of it to add some color.
I really like how he turned out! I hope my swap partner does too!
Thank you for stopping by

Pocket Letter for (Hotmen) Beth
Hey Everyone! Ok so this post is about the pocket letter I made for Beth to keep things fair with my 2 best friends... i usually do things
alphabetical so Ashley first then Beth... I don't want to play
favorites. Best frankly I dont have a favorite they both mean everything
to me and can't and won't chose between then so the best system I have
is to do things alphabetical order.
Ok so I got very excited about this pocket letter thing and seeming as
Ashley, Beth and I do ATC swaps this is like the next best step!!!
Ok so Beth and I went to Lake Superior State University (LSSU) the logo for the skool was an anchor and the team names and everything was the Lakers. Since we are located in Sault Ste. Marie off of Lake Superior. This is where we met. So we share this love for things nautical and especially anchors.
So the 2 anchor punches i used are both fiskars which we all know i'm a HUGE fan of fiskars.
The border anchors are from the Fiskars advantedge punch system and then the single anchor hole punch is from Fiskars Teresa Collins line. which i am really loving the pink, white and gold colors of her collection.

Pocket Letter Pal Swap
hey everyone! So today's post is pocket letter pal swap...
If you have not heard about these (i had not until this week)!
Well ok so Pocket Letter is something a lady Janette Lane came up with while she was doing Project Life (i never got into Project Life it's not for me. you guys know i usually create my own backgrounds with washi tape and/or markers. But I like the idea of Project Life I feel everyone should create thingsno matter how much time you have. Project Life is one you can do rather you have 10 mins or 10 hours which is nice)... ok so she was doing a Project Life and was writing her pen pals so she found some of the nine pocket baseball card sheets and started making something similar to the Project Life for her pen pal. She posted it on instragram and apparently it became an over night success. I can see why the ATC swaps are very popular these days so take that a step farther into a letter and fun things for your friends is no surprise it's a success and so ingenious too! Ok so things you add to them you can do stickers, tea bags, ephemera, washi tape, bakers twine and/or pictures. Don't forget your letter to your friend/pen pal. Then you fold into 3's and mail it in a standard size letter envelop. Your partner can save them in 3 ring binder and look back on it.
OK SO HOW EXCITING IS THAT!
Which is so funny bc I have 2 binders one for Ashley and one for Beth and have their ATC's, letters, cards and postcards in. So, this posket letter is RIGHT up my alley fo'sure! It totally took my love of snail mail, my love of ATCs and my love for letter writing and just rolled it into one fun project!
I did mine in more of an ATC style (i know it's a shocker lol )
Ok so a lady posted a swap on swap-bot.com for this swap there is also a website for this
http://www.pocketletterpals.com/
I have not used this site so I don't know anything about it I would assume it's similar to swap-bot.com but not really sure. Also there are a bunch of youtube videos dedicated to this type of swap already I enjoyed a number of videos on the subject this week :)
Ok so here are some pictures for the swap-bot.com pocket Letter Pal Swap
So this is the full nine pockets
I did a hello one and the little compass spins too
This is the one with washi tape in it.
This one has my letter in it and have a small folder pocket ATC to hold it
This one has things behind it
Here are the stickers behind it
this pocket has some stamp cut outs
this pocket I made a quote atc in it :) With all the circles and dots i thought it
would be cute to make it with a circle quote and found one about friend circles
(The Quote: My friend circle has no sides to be broken,
no ends to be ended, no angles to be measured)
This one has some fun blanket paper for my partner
here are the 3 colors
This is the last one i make for my partner it is the Tolkien quote
(The Quote: Not all those who wander are lost -J.R.R. Tolkien)
and it has her where she live in the middle it's just pure luck she lives in Michigan too lol

let's get organized
Heya everyone!
So, i did some organizing!
I got these little blue trays from a thrift shop downtown and i have six or seven of them for super cheap and they are shorter and are perfect for washi tape!! So, i am kinda in love with them for that. Also, i got this cardboard display from work it held some chips and i was going to throw it away then I thought that would be perfect for some duck tape which you can tell in the photo i might have an addiction too but i make things with it and i love duck tape most of it is ducktape brand i just find their tape easier to work with. On the topo shelf i put out my ribbon bc it was REALLY hard to get to the way i had it. It was in a box from a pair of snow boots that the lid was attached the box sat under all my tape. It was SO DARN HARD TO GET INTO TOO! which made me not use it but i do have some beautiful ribbons and dont have to much for how long i have had most of this ribbon. alot of it was gifts from people i dont keep it bc of that i keep bc i couldnt get into the box lol Now the problem is solved with this little display shelf!!
*YAY*
I am sure Ashley, Beth, Donna (basically my mother-in-law) and Sara can see some tape and ribbon they have bought me or gave me! <3 you gals more than you will ever know!!
