Hey everyone! So today i wanted to show you guys a new atc i just mailed out ti my swap-bot partner! I joined a swap it was Dragon Electric... non pokemon... this looked better in pencil before i inked it but i like it. The colors are brighter in person.

*WEEKLY WRAP UP*

So, it is FRIDAY! (tho still technically still my Thursday night 

not Friday will i go to bed and wake up again)

Well let's take a look at the last week. 

Monday- Posted a new video on youtube and a blog post about a Halloween Bookmark

Fun and excited to be finally doin' those.

Tuesday- I HIT 75 likes on my artist facebook page!!! HOW EXCITING IS THAT! I was very excited and decided randomly that I would do a giveaway and so far only 3 peopls in the running to win something made by me for them. (ALSO YOU CAN POST HERE AND HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN TOO!)

Wednesday-Thursday morning- posted a blogof an ATC I made in honor of my mother-dearest and her Desert Fox-ness my poppy said she was  (GROSS HAHA)

Thursday and Friday to worn out from working... walked to worked midnight to 8am then walked to the store to work 830am to 5pm SLOWLY walked home had pizza with boyfriend then fell asleep by 7pm got up at 11pm got up and took a cab to work midnight to 8am... well at the moment it's 416am and so still working. lol

This week I plan to make a few more videos. I think my "make it monday" videos will be posted Mondays but here and there I may do one or two to be posted throughout the week. MAYBE even do a weekly wrap up video :O ok maybe not anytime soon but you never know what I will do.

Hope you week was not nearly as busy or tiresome as mine well 12 days and counting til I go to Boston to see Beth and Kevin so excited! Can't wait to have a week with them (they have to work some but still I get to see them bunches and bunches!) Also, Beth is dying to show me some new techniques she's learned in her crafting class (JEALOUS but EXCITED!). So I am sure there will be a few photos and new creations to show you guys stay tuned with me and have a great weekend!!

Desert Fox

Heya guys so todays post has two agendas one showing you today's ATC featurette and then two giving you guys another chance to win. No one seems to be posting :( sad face guess no one wants free crafts/art.

Ok so the featurette today is an ATC I made after talking with my mom and poppy on the fone. So on my profiles and things I say I'm a Southern Bell turned Snow Bunny bc I moved from Florida to Michigan in 2007 well my parents now live in Utah idk they are crazy but as I was talking to them my mom goes we what does that make me and my poppy says a desert fox! We all got a kick out it adn it kept kicking around my head and then I remembered I have this AMAZING little fox stamp (which I have talked about many times the whole reason I bought the Lawn Fawn Into the Woods stamp set) Well then I remembered I have this really cute Stampin up cactus wood mount stamp from 2006 season and I love it but dont think I have used it to much I bought it as a single or in a lot of a hodge podge stamps from ebay. It is copyrighted for 2006 so it's more than likely retired and I am sorry I dont know what set it came in or even if it did bc from time to time they release one or two alone. But I made this ATC in honor of my mother!

halloween treats : dumdum pumpkins

Hey guys!

So, today's post is a little different then usual! 

Ok! So, I finally did it I made and posted my first youtube video!

WHAT?! 

I know crazy right?!

So, Today I made some dumdum pumpkins these are the lollipops all dressed up as pumpkins for halloween. I am making some treat bags for some friend's kids for Halloween we dont get trick-or-treaters in our neighbor hood. (Thank goodness). We use buy candy for kids but none ever stopped in so we stopped buying it for them (we still buy our candy of course). But Ilove Halloween and making and giving things so I wanted to do a treat bag for our niece CJ but she lives in Florida and by the time I get done making it. It wouldn't be worth mailing for the price of mailing to her from Michigan. Tho I still might but leaning toward not sending anything like that maybe just make her a card and mail it with some money for her to buy when she wants. Money isnt really important when it comes to CJ! (thankfully we only have one niece and no nephews at this time... meaning we can spend more on CJ! which I love to do!!!)

So here is a photo of my project.

The second one i made some improvements and this video got a good review via Ash. So, I am ok with showing you guys lol this one and the next i will tell Beth about it to see what she thinks going slowly with friends and family bc i love them and dont want them to lie to me or be mean lol

*STRAWBERRY*

Hey guys so nothing new my way... work, work, work, little sleep, little time with boyfriend and then some more work lol so nothing new :) I hope everyone is having a good day. I have been working on some Halloween things but haven't gotten to far with any I am doing some treat bags for some friends little girls i was going to do one for my niece but the cost of mailing to Florida wouldn't justify making one and mailing it. :( but anyways so today's post is about strawberries!

So STRAWBERRIES! I was in two different swap-bot swaps for strawberries the same time :) so i made 3 of each one for me and one for each of the partners in the each swap.

I love them both. Simple yet well done and to the point!

I love strawberries... Growing up in Florida we had a lot of farms like orange groves and strawberry fields. There was a big central area called Plant City that was known for strawberries and they have a big festival after the State Fair is at the fair grounds they go to Plant City which is like 20 miles to the Strawberry Festival site. It's a big deal right around harvest time.

dragon quote ATC

Hey guys! 

So, as you may have read it has been a long week for me losing my cat... she was family to  me so it was hard but just taking one day at a time and today we are looking at an ATC I made for a dragon. 

But first I will address an emailed question I was asked... I don't get a lot of comments usually it's just Ashley telling e what she loves (which I am ok with that bc I love her and love to know what she thinks) but from time to time I do get an email asking what materials or stamp set I use or things like that this time a lady asked me where do I have time to craft so much and post. Well guys you may or may not have read in a past post I work two part time jobs and usually if i am not sleeping or working I lay in bed watching Netflix. But I am luckily enough to work midnights at a seasonal motel, having that job leaves me a lot of down time and that's kinda when I craft this summer. A lot of these ATCs have been made this year. Usually not any rhyme or reason how I post I look at my pix first then decide which to post then i name the post and start from there. Here and there I will stay up til about 3 am when I have a night off from the motel to do some crafting at home in my art/craft studio. But then I was working 4 days at both jobs at the moment I am working 5 days at the motel til Oct 19th and now we have enough employees at the store I am down to like 3 days a week :( sad face but it's ok for now anyways. But that is my crafting time lately. But it's ok I love my life and wish the motel was year around but living in Northern Michigan apparently no one wants to visit when we have 5 feet of snow (or what we call lyzz height snow haha)

So with these dragons i made like 5 each were different but within the same style as showed in the two examples I have posted above.  This little guy was made for a swap-bot swap called dragon, unicorn and cat we had to make one of each. They were made on a BRIGHT orange background. the dragon... surprise surprise is a Lawn Fawn Stamp from the critters ever after set. stamped the dragon on white computer paper (bc that's what i like to use) then i colored him with neon sharpies wrote on it a J.R.R. Tolkien quote to "never laugh at live dragons". Then I took a white gel pen adn went to town with doodling on it. the bottom ATC i used a black sharpie to try a border i didnt care for it i jazzed it up with a stardust gel pen. 100th post & a giveaway

Heya guys so when i went to post today i seen it was the 100th! Celebration! I made it to 100 so i like doodled ALOT actually that said 100 but it was all horribly bad... i was like, " 'Holy Terror of T-Rexs' these are bad!" So, i just decided fk it i hate them so i wont be posting any pix of them.

Hey guys! Since 9-11 was today/yesterday (it's 1:48 AM on the 12th now) I did not lose anyone on that day but I still feel a lose for the people who had lost someone that day. In memory of that day and those people who were lost that day and there after due to the attacks that day. I wanted to show my Patriotic ATCs i made a while back for the LAB SWAP.

I never understood what my grandmother said about how she remembered what she wore, who she was with where she was and basically everything about the day that JFK was assassinated; until Sept 11th 2001. That day is officially burned in my memory. I was in high school and remember everything and was old enough to understand what happened that day.

Heya everyone! Ok so, i wasnt sure which ATC to share with you guys I was going to share the onesie i made for Ash's baby girl little miss Carly Sue (whom i might add is SUPER ADORABLE!) but i forgot to take pictures of 2 of them lol so i will get her to take some pictures and then i will post it up!

*OK ON TO THE ATC*

So, I love this little ATC it's the only one I made. First I made the background I drew the word Rhino graffiti like and then drew the Rhino on some clear tape with a sharpie, it was kinda hard to draw too and I am sure there was probably an easier way to make this but it's ok I love the way it looks and that is all that matters.

The person I made this for really enjoyed the ATC which means more to me than I could really tell you guys IDK I really enjoy creating and making things and when they are for other people makes it even more worth wild to me.

Phobia P

Hey guys so today's post is another one that i have done continuing on the Phobia series tho i did get to M or she didnt post it or i just missed it idk but I did do some and I keep look at this one and I love it!

 

This one was made with 2 different blues and a white paper i used a hole punch to punch the circles then i put it on black card stock. Then wrote on it with a black sharpie. Plain and simple but does the trick!

Phobia "M" ATC

Hey guys so today's post is one that i have done continuing on the Phobia series tho i did get to M or she didnt post it or i just missed it idk but I did do some and I keep look at this one and I love it!

It's a simple one but differinty does the trick!

So the bees are from Lawn Fawn's stamp set of the Gnome Sweet Gnome which is one of my favorite stamp sets! I used an xacto knife to cut out the center.

Things with wings ATC

Hey guys ok so i'm not good at keeping up with posting when i want to but techincally i'm still on friday since i walked home at 8am slept about 830am to 330pm got up, got my backpack and lunch ready walked to work at the store by 430pm to 1130pm then walked to the motel to be at work by midnight.
*YAWN*

So anyways this is a swap for a L.A.B. Swap (lyzz, ashley and beth swap) This theme was things with wings (Beth and Ashley's was AMAZING mine was ok but here it is.

On here the back ground was blue Tim Holtz distress marker (not sure atm which blue) but then took some water and gave it watermarks, then took a small butterfly punch and punched some butterflys from some pink Tim Holtz distressed paper i made, also some pink with a blue marker to make purple and some with a pink sharpie then took a circle hole punch and punched some paper i colored with yellow sharpie and used as a flower circle and used a green sharpie to make a stem and leaves then glued on the butterflys and took a black sharpie to write the works "spread your wings"

Hey guys so today's let's pretend is one i made for a swap-bot swap themed "SCISSORS" So i decided to use this cute image that happens to be tattooed on boyfriend's right calf and the lettering is tattooed on my right calf. We got them together <3!!

Let's Pretend Week

Hey guys! So, I decided to theme this week Let's Pretend! Today's post is a Let's Pretend ATC I made for my LAB SWAP (Lyzz, Ashley & Beth Swaps) This is one I did with some paper I have had since 2008. I bought it in 2008! I actually horde fancy designer papers... not only bc i like the paper and never know how to use it but bc I usually make my own background papers with stamps, sharpies, inks, paints and anything i can get my hands on lol

Chershire cat atc

Hey guys like i said yesterday the Disney Alice and Wonderland is my favorite! So for the Alice and Wonderland: Cheshire Cat ATC theme i did some Disney-ness for it!
