update on the new crafty/art studio

Oh my gosh! I have so much crafting and art supplies. I really have a passion for creating things. Here's some pix of the space with my new shelves. ( <3 my Boyfriend) There are still a lot of things to organize and boxes to go through but OMG like 6 hours of moving more things up to this room from the living room (my thighs are killing me from all those stairs!) and also moving things and going through it and oh man so much stuff lol 

The two black shelves are new only like 15 bux at walmart bc walmart only had one kind of book shelf *LAME* But Boyfriend showed me these they were like over by the automotive stuff it was weird I thought boyfriend was crazy lol well he is but there were these over there and it was like these for 15 each about 4 foot or so OR there was one for like 28 with 2 more shelves but i'm short so i went for the 2 for 15 and I have space and able to reach everything!

Surprise Gift!

Hey everyone! So, I went on vacation and I've been busy with my internship. So like hardly anytime to craft *SAD* i know... but Wanted to share this amazingly great gift I got in the mail today from none other than my dear friend Ashley. OMG she's totally out done herself this time! I have some amazing people in my life. Later I will have to take some pix from some great finds I found in Petoskey while on vacation. But idk when those will be taken or posted. Also, have sometime set aside with my Hotmen Beth to hang out on Wednesday while she's in town and we can hopefully get a craft date in *FINGERS CROSSED* I so miss craft dates with her now that she lives in Massachusetts and that's a good distances away from Michigan haha. So, hopefully I will have some crafty days at the end of this week and get some things posted.

diaper shower invitations

Hey guys! So I have been working on a new project this week for a lady I work with at my internship. My craft room is still not fully set up and I have projects I'm still working but I said yes...Why I said yes IDK bc I'm crazy and love to take on more than I can lol but I put my projects aside and worked on these this week. I hammered them out and got them done. So here they are...

So, this is a 2nd child for the mother to be so it will be a surprise diaper party. So, I made little diaper envelopes and they have inserts that have the date and time on them. Hopefully this surprise party and invites go out without any issues!

The beginning layout

I cut everything out by hand to see how things would look.

 

Here we decided to get some brighter card stock and I used my Cricut to cut out the name and the cloud around it then I used an x-acto knife to cut out the middles of the safety pins and then cut them out with scissors. Bc I didn't have a Cricut cartridge with a safety pin so I worked it out.
